{Television...}

keeps my nights from being wasted away at O'Leaver's or some other bar. I look forward to my little shows. They allow you to zone out for that hour and be concerned not with economy woes and stock market downturns, but with whether or not Blair's new boyfriend is going to find out that she still loves Chuck. Much more interesting, in my opinion.
So, as I was watching Gossip Girl Monday night, it was much to my surprise that my favorite character on the show (Chuck, naturally) mentioned my favorite character EVER from another beloved television show. From PBS no less! Like any of these children watching the show would know of....Bertie Wooster from Jeeves and Wooster! I was thrilled. SO happy!
Look, he's so young!
Thank you Chuck, for making reference to the greatest character ever. Even if it was completely out of context.

That leads us to the fantastic Hugh Laurie. I'm glad I love House so much. It's so fun to see him on tv again, especially as one of the most successful actors in his genre. Congrats on your $400k an episode payday Hugh!

Uh, just started watching GG. XOXO. Hilarious. I love it too. I plan every night after work to go home and be productive. I make dinner and sit in front of the telly to watch only while I eat and end up sitting there for hours watching shows which take me away from my dull reality and let me live vicariously through teenagers. Awesome. I adore House too. There are SO many of my favorite shows coming back on in the next few weeks that I can barely take the anticipation. But how did I miss the reference to Jeeves and Wooster? Can I recommend to you, Dirty Sexy Money (hello Peter Krause) and How I Met Your Mother (hilarious), for starters. I have many more, but those are musts. Hope you have DVR.

Hey, thanks for the nice comments! And your blog is adorable.

I adore Hugh Laurie with all of my being. In addition to all of the fab British comedies he did (the "Blackadder" series is also worth checking out) pre-house, he always seems so incredibly normal in interviews. Well, if normal were absolutely hysterical and paid $10,000,000 per year or whatever.
