{Updates!}

I just wanted to share some developments from past posts.
{I know you're all dying to know.}

First off, T H A N K Y O U so much for your kind, caring words of support over the slow, painful death of my lights {see post here}. Keep me updated on whether any of you see these guys at your local World Market! I really appreciate it. They're like a child to me, you see.

Second...I did join the Bare Minerals society of, what I assume, very happy customers. I highly recommend it! I'm less oily throughout the day {you wanted to know that, right?}, my skin is more clear, & the color/coverage is fabulous. And, I converted another former Clinique girl!

And speaking of said Clinique girl...my good friend Meghan is engaged! She told me last night & I'm proud to say that she asked me to be a bridesmaid & help plan the big day. So look forward to lots of posts about her upcoming nuptials. I love a good party, afterall.

Now off to study...if I've been slacking on visiting everyone's lovely blogs I apologize. I've been a busy bee & have had some internet problems as well. Why oh why isn't the entire world wireless? Is it not too much to ask for in the year 2009? I had higher hopes!

I love peonies! Do I love Bare Minerals more? It's got to be a pretty close match.

Congrats on being a bridesmaid...I want to one day be one! I really want to try Bare Minerals...is there one you recommend?

Shelley - I agree...I think I, too, love both equally. Ahh, peonies.

Candi - I suggest going to Sephora, having them match you, & buying a starter kit. It's the best deal & you'll love it!

The starter kit is SO the way to go. You get all the brushes and it lasts forever. You'll totally be hooked.

okay never tried bare minerals before but I may have to now, because my face does tend to be on the oily side!

The starter kit is definitely the way to go! Bare minerals is the best foundation ever. I have extremely oily skin and this keeps it under control. Its amazing stuff!

I just wanted to chime in & tell you that I agree with the wireless issue, a source of endless frustration!

You are hilarious, by the way :) I've never been to Nebraska, but love your description of it!
