{Playing} Catch-Up

First off, I want to say that I did see the new HP {& was so excited}, but was more than slightly disappointed. While I understand that it is a movie adaptation {I liked the others}, I felt it wasted a lot of time on unimportant stuff & was honestly quite boring. Sorry, just my honest opinion. And trust me, I am very, very sad to say it.

{my new friend}
Second, remember my horrific Lighting Emergency? Well, here's the replacement. It'll have to do, & it's actually pretty fun & quite the conversation starter.

Now that those little "catch-ups" are out of the way, it's the weekend! I've got lots of Abnormal Psych reading to catch up on, a close friend to catch up with, & some fun events to catch. I promise to take lots of photos for Monday's post {horse races & a soap-box derby, my friends}.
Have a great one!

I haven't read that book yet, so I thought it was fine. All my friends that had read it said the same thing. I am now working on reading the book so I can see what they mean. I will say that since I didn't read the book I found a lot of it confusing...like what were those corpse like things and why couldn't Dumbledore get water? I asked a friend about it and she filled me in, but I was confused by the movie. I also heard they didn't talk about that big burly guy and he was pretty big in the book, I think his name is Fenrear or something.

Your apartment must just be the cutest place ever. And ya gotta love a weekend full of psych readings! I just finished my CBT readings that were piling up on me!

Right wasn't HP such a disappointment! And it's so sad that it was!

I have yet to see any of the HP movies, planning on renting them all soon and forcing myself to watch them, people have had so many good things to say about them.

I love the lighting that you have! I can see why it is a conversation starter.

I agree with you about HP, I have read all of the books, and the movies never seem to capture the books.. I know they can't do it perfectly, but it really bothers me sometimes!

I felt the exact same way about the HP movie!

love the light! I actually liked abnormal psych when I took it, was not a big fan of forensic psych however.

Okay so I loved HP the first time I watched it, but I think it was because I was so excited. I went again over the weekend so bf could see it, and I was almost bored to tears. And it didn't seem as funny the second time around...

I do love how the characters are developing and the relationships between Ron/Hermoine and Harry/Ginny, but they did seem to forget the main essence of the book!

Ugh, I was disappointed/bored, too. So VERY.

Totally agree with you about HP. I was so disappointed to see the whole Half Blood Prince plot line "solved" the way it was.
