I found this at our local grocer today. As you know, I've been looking for a replacement to my beloved Old Style Light & this Minhaus Light is a contender {$11 for 24!}.

That same lovely grocer has been selling these GIANT portobello mushrooms like mad this past week. I've bought more than a few. They are de-lish! Seared in a pan with some butter & voila, you've got dinner.

I've been noticing these little violets popping out of the ground all around campus. Whenever I see them struggling through the earth they make me smile.

I've been buying mushrooms a lot lately too...they are so yummy! I've been getting the baby bellas and cooking them in a little olive oil and butter to eat with everything...they were especially good thrown in with some whole wheat fettucinne, garlic, and red pepper flakes.
And I just love violets...so pretty!
ahhhh! i love spring! it's such a happy time, and these are definitely three good reasons to feel happy. especially the flowers...i am such a weirdo with flowers. i always have to stop and touch them. :/

Yum to the 'shrooms and cheap "craft" beer! And such pretty little violets, aw. I have seen hundreds of these teeny-tiny light pink wildflowers growing in amongst my grass, and I have no idea what they are, but they are so pretty!
Mushrooms are yummy...and violets are too pretty not to make you smile :)

We have so many violets all over the yard from birds dropping seeds. They look so pretty! I'll have to post them just for you :)

I love spring after [a long] winter! I've noticed those pretty little flowers popping up, too: so refreshing to see COLOUR!
