{Summer} Reading

I know you're all gettin' yer read on, at least, I hope you are. I'm currently switching between silly beach reads & statistics texts, myself.

I get most of my books from the library or Amazon. In fact, Amazon can be such a good deal lately that it's almost always my choice. Just today I received a book I spent a whopping $.80 on! Yes, eighty CENTS. I paid $3.99 in shipping for a grand total of $4.79 for a brand new hardback book. I was pretty happy about this, as I read these "novels" summer after summer.

So, got any recommendations for me?
I'm pretty sure I'll breeze through these guys before summer comes to an end...

I love going to our local library to browse for new books to read. The best part, it's free!

I think if it wasn't for our library, I'd be rolling in bookstore debt! I have also purchased books from half.com before, it is a great way to get a good deal!

Recommendations: Depends on what you like. Agatha Christie is always quick and entertaining. I recently finished Londonstani, which I think everyone should read, but it is pretty intense.

Hey all! I will totally let you all know what I think of these books - I can guarantee that most are going to be listed under the mindless entertainment category.

And BRANDON...thanks for the recommendations! I always forget how I've loved A.Christie in the past, too!

I never think to buy books from Amazon. Thanks! I could read Jane Austen again and again. Especially Emma!

Have you read Naturally Thin yet? It's sitting beside my bed but I haven't cracked it open yet. Gotta love those statistics texts!

Elementary Statistics. Nuff Said. My two favorite books are Water for Elephants and The Devil in the White City. Other than that, I listen to NPR and end up uncovering books that I had no idea existed.
