{Breakfast!}
Does your town/city have one? We just opened up a new theater here in Omaha {which is where I saw New Moon, as a matter of fact!} which features cocktails, lunch/dinner options, & wonderful seating.
{Luxurious, 1st-class seating}
We chose to sit in the balcony (no dinner served up there) because we were able to reserve our own seats online. No searching for an empty set of chairs in a dark theater anymore! It was wonderful. That and the cocktails. Did I mention the cocktails?
{Yes, Chuck, that's an ad for 'The Squeakquel' in the background}
You simply press a little red button & voila! A waiter at your service to prepare your drink of choice. I think we managed to get through about 4 bloody marys each in a 2 hour movie. Of course, you can also simply hit up the bar, which happens to be on the way to the restrooms.
{Our bartenders, working hard in Vue, the balcony's bar}
The verdict? I would go again.

Looks so fancy and fun!! Any place with cocktails and feature films is a good place in my book :)
That is awesome! Our theater serves cocktails and light apps such as fruit and cheese or sandwiches along with all the regular movie food, but no reservations or cocktail seating. I wish we had that!
Ooooh fun. I love that you just hit a red button and BAM..happiness! hahaha!
Although eating real food in a theater freaks me out. All those smells mixing together, no thank you. But I'm weird like that.
Wow, I've never even heard of such a thing! That sounds fabulous!
This is so neat! What a great idea. ALL movie theaters need to be like this!!!
wow, what a theater! sounds fabulous!
WHHHAAAAA???!!? And we used to be forced to sneak in our own bags of wine. Why oh why did this open after I moved away?? Maybe I'll fly back for the next Harry POOter and we can legally drink in the theater.
Totally awesome! I need to find one of these by my house! :)
Sweet! I so need to investigate this.....
p.s.~left you something on my blog!
So fun! I used to go once in a while to a great theater like that in Indy. Love it!
This looks fabulous!! I would definitely go to the movies more if we had a nice theatre like this. I hate paying $20 and then having to listen to loud teenagers and sit in seats that were probably featured on one of those dateline specials about hidden bacteria. I thought of you this morning when I saw the wind chill factor for Omaha on the news! Hope you are keeping warm!!
Fancy INDEED! We have a few here in DC that serve beer and cocktails, but they serve them at the concessions stand, not to you in your seat. SCORE! I want to go to there...
A new theater like this just opened in my city a few weeks ago, although I haven't been yet. I think they serve food too. Mmmmm....
weiiiiird! I just stumbled across your blog from The Pink Chick. saw this post & thought to myself... "that sounds familiar!" I live in Omaha too :) but haven't yet made it to a movie in midtown. enjoy the sunny day!
