Recap: Valentine's Day

First off, I hope you all had a great Valentine's Day, whether you were with a loved one, hangin' solo, or holed up in a cave. Ours was fairly quiet - Conor worked at the pharmacy all day & I studied for an exam. Fun stuff, right? Are you excited to read more? Don't be.
We had our usual champagne faire: Moet Imperial & Sophia Coppola were this year's choices. I made Conor a Scrabble valentine. It was free. We had some yummy cheese courtesy of Whole Foods (thank you furry cheese man for the recs) followed by chicken piccata & creme brulee.
We sat at my computer & watched old episodes of Dr. Who. Whatever, we cancelled cable a few weeks back - it limits your choices. Well, that's that. Back to paper-writing & whatnot. Dragging Conor to the gym tonight...maybe if you're lucky I'll photo him in the "workout" clothes he bought. Hee hee.

i didn't do anything fun. stayed at home. a bit miffed at the boyfriend.... he didn't even buy me a card!

I love the scrabble card idea you did for Conor what a cool idea. and your dinner sounded so yummy especially paired with the bubbly! I guess I have to live vicariously through you:)

Sounds like a fun Valentine's Day! Did you go to Whole Foods on Sunday? I was doing some last-minute shopping there as well!!! What if we passed each other!? That would be weird!

NICE!!

We gave up cable in 2004 - We have an adapter that enables us to plug our computer into the TV and we stream Netflix and Hulu like crazy people (watching Robin Hood lately - very fun, I recommend it if you haven't seen it).

When we were in the mountains for Thanksgiving, we watched countless episodes of It's Always Sunny in Philly on the old laptop. No cable access. Made me think...maybe just maybe...we could do without it. Then I remembered how addicted the dude is to the Wiggles. Ah ha ha
