Earlier this summer I posted about the various titles on my summer reading list. Well, as summer is on it's way out, I've composed a list of books to read that I'm planning to mix in with various {school-related} psychology texts.
A Thousand Splendid Suns & Shanghai Girls have been on my list for a bit, but were overlooked this summer for the easy beach reads. I, of course, had to throw in a few silly ones, which is why I chose Twenties Girl {love Sophie Kinsella, just do}, & sTori Telling. How hilarious is Tori, honestly?
Murder on the Orient Express, New Moon, Pride & Prejudice & Zombies, & Dracula are all on the list to get me prepped & ready for Halloween, my favorite holiday. {Well, New Moon is more of a re-read for movie prep in November, of course!}.
What's on your current, or to-be-read list? Please share!

I just Sophie Kinsella too...her books are just perfect thrown in with heavy psychology reading! I saw Twenties Girl at Target today and it looks so cute. I also noticed Pride & Prejudice & Zombies but I didn't pick it up to read the cover...now I'm intrigued!
I'm rereading all the classics..Catcher in the Rye, Fahrenheit 451, To Kill a Mocking Bird, The Giver etc.
I am also rereading New moon just to get ready for the movie. I have a problem.
LOL, you are too funny. As far as I'm concerned literarily is a perfectly proper word! :)
Considering rereading New Moon as well. The first time around, like everyone else, I powered through hoping to get to the good stuff--meaning the scenes involving Edward, of course!
My summer reading includes Infinite Jest and The American Wife.
PS Tori Spelling RULES! I adored her short lived show So noTORIous. HILARIOUS!
Thanks for the list. I really need to start reading more, and I know if you like it...I'll like it :)

We just finished "The Ex-Mrs. Hedgefund" and it was delightful, outstanding escapist literature! You will love it!

I start school again next week so I won't be able to read for fun for a while. I'm waiting to read "Love is a Mix Tape," and "The Suicide Index."
The twilight series, and the outlander series with a bit of jane austen thrown in.
I love reading so my shelves are always full. You have some on your list that I would like to add to mine:)
thanks for sharing.

We are soulmates, I think. My list definitely includes the new Sophie Kinsellas (I think I've missed a few) and Pride & Prejudice & Zombies. A Thousand Splendid Suns was a really good book!
I also want to read the True Blood books...
I am ALWAYS looking for new books to add to my memo section in my blackberry. I am currently reading Firefly Lane by Kristin Hannah, which I am loving so far. It takes place in my city, so I love it even more.
I love when other people make reading lists- it gives me good ideas...
I would like to read A Moveable Feast, The Help, Mansfield Park and various cookbooks. I often take recommendations from others, so I'm likely to get sidetracked at some point!
I am going to get Twenties Girl for this wknd when I plan on doing nothing!
A Thousand Splendid Suns was sooo good...I'm a huge fan of his work.
Is Tori really funny?! I might have to check that out.
I loved A Thousand Splendid Suns, it was fantastic. I just finished reading Prisoner of Tehran, and if you like A Thousand Splendid Suns, you will love this book as well! I highly recommend it!
I can't wait to buy the new Sophie Kinsella book, it looks fabulous as always! Love her books!
I am reading all of Jen Lancaster's books (just finished Bitter is the New Black and LOVED it!), then I will read Dorothea Benton Frank's Return to Sullivan's Island (I love books set in the South, especially the Charleston area), and then on to Jennifer Weiner's new book. I would like to get in Pat Conroy's South of Broad, too, but we will see. I have a newborn at home (15 days old today!), so my reading time as been greatly reduced.
