Halloween, Come Sooner!

I love it so much. You have no idea, but will probably find out over the next few months, ha! Well, Conor agreed to let me have a party this year. Dinner party, that is. Last year my favorite sister pair, Jessica & Alex, had a big ol' kegger, {more on that closer to the actual holiday} so I'll leave that one to them.

The reason for this sudden desire to celebrate Halloween? These photos, from Country Living, of an outdoor party celebrating the ghoulish day.

By day...

....and by night.

The idea was that you would ask each guest to bring a Jack-o-Lantern for decor. I love it. Now if only I had an outdoor space like this...or for that matter, one at all!

Do any of you throw an annual Halloween party?
Or at least have your costume planned for this year?

I LOVE Halloween! And my goodness that loves those pictures of that outdoor party! I want my house to look like that!

I will have to repost my costume as we get closer to Halloween. But I'm still working on P since it's a joint costume. :)

Love that. We have friends that throw a HUGE Halloween party every year- so that's where we usually celebrate.

I'm thinking I'm going to dress up as kate gosselin for halloween! HA! LOL

Love the pics :) I think TBF and I are going to be Jon and Kate + 8 because he's half asian and I have blonde hair. We plan on strapping babies to ourselves. It's going to be amazing.

Aaron thought he might make a good Kool Aid Man. And he would like me to be Chester the Cheetah.

I think you could recreate the outdoor look inside!!! Hang some lights, do the Jack O Lanterns and open the windows for some crisp fall air!

God, I love Halloween SO MUCH... and everyone here (in DC, where I've been living for two years bow) appears to be entirely apathetic toward it.

So sad. You can't even know.

Halloween is such a 'to die for' holiday. I have ordered my Greek goddess costume. I plan on accenting it with some Zena Warrior accessories.
What are you going to dress up as? A socialite? An O'Leaver beaver?

I've been dying to throw a Halloween party and it just hasn't worked out the last couple of years. A dinner party would be a nice compromise though!

Ok, I totally miss the woods. And spooky Halloween parties. All Hong Kong has is drunk Hlaloween parties. Which are also ok.
