I'm always on the lookout for black & white decor. Fun, little things to dress up my place. Since I'm still renting I cannot go all out, but sometimes the accessories are the best part! Today I found the cutest acrylic tray - & it was super cheap, too! It's perfectly simple: clear & white. I had to have it. Trays are an especially attractive item to me.

I never did a "tour" of my new place. I honestly think it's kinda dumpy. "It is only temporary," I keep telling myself. Well, stay tuned & I'll be posting some more of my favorite black + white items around my place. Maybe that will finally get me excited about making my apartment a little bit more of a home.

We buy accessories too. I really want all sorts of new furniture, but it's kind of pointless in a tiny place. "It's only temporary" is my mantra too!
I love black and white! I've been decorating my room for over a year now, and everything I'm drawn to for the room is well...black and white, or grey. I used to question this, but obviously I am not alone.
That tray is awesome. I'm sort of obsessed with acrylic right now.
I loved that house tour over at AT too and you should totally do a mini tour through your space. It lets people see how nice you can make something even if the actual building isn't amazing.

I am all for black and white interiors, with some gray. (that is the palette in my home) I add bits of colour here and there.

I rent a crummy apartment with two guys who couldn't care less what our place looks like. One has pics of his trip to Australia framed & hung all around the apartment, and I HATE them.
So... I have no decorations. No accessories. No home joy. And also, no windows in my bedroom.
